Photography: Learning the Tools and Finding Your Vision— is an introductory course for photographers who want to take their abilities to the next level, through the honing of skills and a focus on your vision.  This eight-week course is limited to 8 photographers. Enrollment is first come, first served, so reserve your place today.  The focus of this class will be DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY.

These sessions will be live, but you will complete projects working at your own pace in between gathering weekly with a small group of other talented and motivated photographers.  You’ll meet once a week for one and a half hours on videoconference. In each session you’ll participate in:

  • An opening roundtable discussion, with each person on camera and their work on the screen, sharing thoughts, questions, and new understandings
  • Group discussions and critiques that focus on each individual photographer’s work, offering the opportunity to share experiences, roadblocks, and revelations
  • A presentation by David Aimone introducing the material and focus of the exercise-challenges for the week to follow
  • After each class, you’ll have five days during the week to create work in response to the week’s assigned challenge, and when your work is done, you’ll upload digital photos of it with our easy-to-use software so that we can organize it into a presentation for the class.

Please feel free to ask us any questions you might have about the course by writing to david@aimonephoto.com.
